BNP to nominate those who played role in movements: RizviBNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed spoke to reporters at the party's central office in Nayapaltan this morning. Rizvi said around 500 nomination forms for reserved women's seats were sold yesterday, adding that distribution and submission of forms will continue until tomorrow. He said BNP is following its established democratic process in selecting candidates, allowing interested individuals to collect nomination forms. Highlighting women's contributions, he said women have played a significant role in past movements and struggles, with many facing arrest, repression and harassment for expressing independent views, including on social media. He expressed hope that the party would nominate deserving women who have proven their role in movements, are capable of parliamentary participation and are respected in society.
