LALMONIRHAT, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - In the 13th National ParliamentaryElection, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) secured a clean sweep inLalmonirhat, winning all three parliamentary constituencies with their iconic"Sheaf of Paddy" symbol. The standout result came from the Sadar constituency, where party'sorganising secretary and former deputy minister Principal Asadul Habib Duluachieved a landslide victory. Dulu's winning margin of 83,413 votes hasdrawn significant attention. In the Lalmonirhat-2 constituency, comprising Kaliganj and Aditmari upazilas,BNP's Rokon Uddin Babul won 1,23,946 votes, narrowly defeating Firoz HaiderLavlu of the "Daripalla" symbol by 6,694 votes. The sweeping victories across Lalmonirhat were met with excitement among BNPleaders and activists, marking a strong performance for the party in thenorthern district.
