BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said the court still has not handed out a certified copy of the verdict in the Zia Orphanage Trust case because it it being amended. He was speaking at a press briefing at the party’s Naya Paltan headquarters on Friday. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi: “The court has not handed out the verdict copy of Begum Khaleda Zia after eight days of the verdict delivery. This means the verdict is being amended.”He added: “According to the rules, the verdict copy needs to be handed out after five days. The delay proves the government’s intervention in the judiciary system.”He further said the judge could not complete writing the 632 page verdict in 10 days and demanded the withdrawal of cases against all BNP leaders.
