Monirul Haque Chowdhury has been elected unofficially from Cumilla-6 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election. He secured 2,01,706 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Kazi Din Mohammad received 1,19,851 votes.
