PUTRAJAYA: Barisan Nasional’s election manifesto, set to be unveiled by BN chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil tonight, promises to be one that will have an impact on all Malaysians through 14 thrusts and 300 initiatives. BN Strategic Communications director Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan described the manifesto, themed “Bersama BN Hebatkan Negaraku”, as “comprehensive, inclusive and full of new ideas” as it was prepared based on engagements with interest groups, such as component parties, non-governmental organisations, associations, as well as the public. He said BN would improve the ecosystem of the housing industry to provide opportunities for the rakyat to own affordable houses and protect their rights as housebuyers. The manifesto, he said, would be in Bahasa Melayu, English, Chinese, Tamil, Iban and Kadazandusun. He said pledges made in the BN manifesto for GE14 were achievable, not mere rhetoric or empty promises.
