Share TweetBy Jun RamirezThe Bureau of Immigration (BI) has deployed 67 newly-hired immigration officers to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to further enhance its services to the traveling public. He added that the BI plans to hire more immigration officers for deployment to other major ports and border crossing stations. Since Morente assumed his post three years ago, the BI has already hired more than 300 immigration officers to beef up its manpower in international ports nationwide. Aside from augmenting its manpower, the BI was also successful in reducing the long passenger queues at NAIA by launching its e-gates project for Filipino travelers last year.
