A team of three aspiring engineers from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) has stormed into the world finals of the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2017. Team Parasitica came out victorious in the South East Asia regional final round of the skill-based competition in Manila, Philippines. The top seven teams from the regional final will head to the World Finals, which will be held this July in Seattle, USA. Parasitica are the only team to win two awards in the regional finals, claiming the Microsoft Imagine Cup People’s Choice Award. At the same time, it helps to reduce the time for diagnosis and the probability of misdiagnosis.
