Bangladesh has recorded 12 new cases of Covid-19 in a day, taking the overall tally of infections to 2,044,969, reports bdnews24.com. The death toll from the disease rose by one to 29,476 over the 24-hour period, according to the latest government data released on Saturday. As many as 641 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 1.87 per cent. Dhaka logged the most cases among the eight divisions with eight. The latest figures put the recovery rate at 98.39 per cent and the mortality rate at 1.44 per cent.
