DHAKA, April 9, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revisedthe match schedule for the upcoming white-ball series against the New Zealandnational cricket team in line with the government's energy conservationmeasures. New Zealand are scheduled to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) andthree Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) during their tour of Bangladesh. TheODI series was initially planned as day-night fixtures starting at 3:00 PM,while the T20Is were set to begin at 6:00 PM. BCB ad hoc committeechief Tamim Iqbal confirmed that the timings will be adjusted to align withthe government's initiative aimed at reducing electricity consumption,particularly by limiting the use of floodlights. New Zealand will play the first two ODIs in Dhaka on April 17 and 20, and thethird ODI in Chattogram on April 23.
