BBC journalist Felicity Baker talks about her stammer in new documentary

A BBC news producer has stepped in front of the camera to discuss the realities of living with a stammer for a new documentary. Journalist Felicity Baker agreed to make I Can't Say My Name: Stammering In The Spotlight, which airs on Wednesday on BBC One, after revealing her stammer to friend and BBC News colleague Sophie Raworth. 'She really hasn't spoken about it before and now we're putting her on television in front of millions and millions of people.' The broadcaster said the documentary gave a voice to people with stammers and that they've interviewed people for the programme who had even hidden their speech problems from friends and family. In January, Felicity stepped in front of the camera to file a report on the inauguration of US President Joe Biden, who also manages a stammer.
