One day after declining to reveal the details of the meeting which took place at Marriott Putrajaya, Azmin’s political secretary, Muhammad Hilman Idham issued a statement yesterday saying that during the meeting Haziq told him the video was fake. “In the meeting, Haziq told me that he has become a victim of a dirty political game to bring down Datuk Seri Azmin Ali,” Muhammad Hilman alleged in the statement. Muhammad Hilman, who is also Gombak Setia assemblyman, also claimed that Haziq asked for his opinion on informing his parents about the matter. He lodged a police report at the Putrajaya district police headquarters yesterday claiming that Haziq had filed a false report, which he said was a criminal accusation. On Thursday, Muhammad Hilman admitted meeting Haziq at the Zest Restaurant in Marriot Putrajaya on June 11 before the sex videos were leaked, but declined to reveal details of the meeting.
