Aziz Ansari has made history on Thursday, as the first Indian-American actor to land a lead comedy-acting Emmy nomination for his series Master of None and he'll immediately qualify it. "If you're a minority, you’re experiencing all sorts of casual racism all the time," says Ansari. "I think every minority actor runs into that," says Ansari. Last season, "we really just viewed the show as an opportunity we may not get again," says Ansari. Masters of None's cast is so diverse, says Ansari, because he and Yang wanted it to emulate what New York looks and feels like.
