Nyali MP Mohamed Ali has claimed that the Opposition spent Sh250 million in organizing the recent anti-government protests. "They used Sh250 million to organise the demonstrations," the MP claimed. The MP claimed he knows that was the amount spent. "Bado mimi ni jicho pevu, hiyo ndio pesa walitumia," the MP claimed. Ali spoke during the launch of Toyota Fortuner local assembly line in Miritini, Mombasa county where President William Ruto was the guest of honour.
