The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance bi-partisan team has turned down an invitation by National Assembly leader Kimani Ichung'wah to meet to break ground for negotiations. The coalition's co-chair Otiende Amollo has instead called for a parallel inaugural meeting for the two negotiation teams on Thursday. Amollo noted that he was the co-chair of Azimio La Umoja/Kenya Kwanza Bipartisan Dialogue Team as the ruling alliance is yet to appoint one. Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna told the Star they will not participate in the meeting convened by Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah. Earlier on, Ichung'wah invited the co-chairs of the bipartisan team to a meeting on Thursday to harmonise and agree on the terms of reference.
