Azimio politicians have intensified calls for mass action over the high cost of living. Speaking at Kamkunji Grounds where the Opposition had convened a 'consultative' meeting with the people, the politicians said maandamano is the only language the government understands. Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna regretted that the Kenya Kwanza administration has not shown willingness to address the concerns of the people. Wambua said efforts by Azimio to ensure the concerns of the people are addressed through Parliament have not been successful. He said lawmakers who are friendly to the Ruto administration are not needed in Azimio.
