Enamul Haque Shamim, an organising secretary for the ruling party, made the announcement after distributing relief at the refugee camps on Friday. "The latrines will be set up within next week," he said. The leaders and activists of the party were working to help the refugees as ordered by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said. They have joined another 400,000 of the Muslim minorities who were already staying in refugee camps in Bangladesh. Earlier on Thursday, a media statement by BRAC said it set up 58 tube wells and 155 latrines in the camps at Ukhia and Teknaf.
