The Swedish DJ - real name Tim Bergling - was close to completing an album when he took his own life in April 2018. His family allowed the songwriters he was working with to finish the music and it's now set for release. Avicii's first posthumous single SOS will be released on April 10 and the album, TIM, will follow on June 6. It stated: "When Tim Bergling passed away on April 20, 2018, he was close to completing a new album. The proceeds from the album will go to the Tim Bergling Foundation which aims to tackle mental illness and prevent suicide."
