This year’s Irish Society for Rheumatology (ISR) Autumn Meeting attracted a record number of delegates with over 200 registered to attend. It was described as “a great success” by ISR President Dr John Ryan, Consultant Rheumatologist, Cork University Hospital. Dr Ryan praised her contribution to both the ISR and the advancement of the profession of rheumatology in Ireland. Dr Kearns was presented with her award by her former colleague Prof Paul O’Connell, who gave a warm and engaging speech in her honour. The next ISR meeting, the 2025 Spring Meeting, will be held in Sligo on 10-11 April.
