MANILA, Philippines — Authorities are verifying information that a convicted drug lord continues to operate in the illegal drug trade, following the confiscation of P47.6 million worth of shabu in Cebu City that was allegedly sourced from him. Camilo Cascolan said one of three arrested couriers in an anti-drug operation launched Sunday revealed that the seized shabu, which came from San Carlos City, Negros Oriental, belonged to a certain Rustico “Dikoy” Ygot. Ygot is currently detained at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City after being convicted of drug charges in 2013.
