Authorities in South Carolina are investigating a Pickens County sheriff's deputy's shooting of a break-in suspect. Hashe said the deputy fired several times and at least one of the shots hit Styles. SLED says the deputy and the suspect are white. Hashe said a deputy arrived, entered the home and confronted 18-year-old Franklin Reed Styles. Hashe did not provide other details on the shooting.
