German authorities declared a state of emergency in the southern city of Munich on Friday evening after gunmen attacked a busy shopping mall, killing at least eight people, television station NTV reported. The police earlier have told people to stay in their homes or, if outside, to seek shelter indoors while the shopping mall shooting emergency in the German city remained ongoing.
