CHRIS SKELTON/SUTFF Australia aims to join Canada and the Netherlands as an expeorter of medicinal cannabis. Pending parliamentary approval, cannabis products including including oils, patches, sprays, lozenges and tablets made from locally grown cannabis would be on offer to the global medical cannabis market. Australian federal health minister Greg Hunt said allowing medicinal cannabis product exports would help the developing domestic market to grow, and subsequently help Australian medicinal pop users. The federal health department says 350 patients have accessed Australian-grown medicinal cannabis products.
