(File photo)At least seven people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Wairoa on Thursday. A rescue helicopter and five St John ambulance vehicles attended the incident with police at 6pm, on State Highway 2, near Ohuia Rd. The crash left one person in a critical condition. Paramedics treated six other patients, who were transported to Hawkes Bay and Wairoa for treatment.
