A chance to experience Antarctica in virtual reality is coming to Auckland Museum. A virtual reality trip to Antarctica will allow climate change deniers to walk on melting glaciers. Australian film-maker Briege Whitehead said she wanted to use virtual reality to bring people face-to-face with the reality of climate change. White Spark Pictures Participants will land on melting glaciers, discover a penguin colony and witness the Southern Lights in 4K, high definition. White Spark Pictures Filming took place at two Australian Antarctic Division stations over two weeks.
