AFTER more than three decades of service, Methodist Boys’ School (MBS), Kuala Lumpur, Form Six senior assistant Gan Swit Peng, who also teaches Physics and Mathematics, will retire on Sept 11. As a student, Gan had aspired to become a teacher. Starting out in 1984, Gan was first posted to SMK Tengku Ampuan Intan in Kuala Berang, Terengganu. The biggest lessons do not come from books but from teachers like Gan, said Chemistry teacher V. Peragalathan. Gan hopes that the MBS family will continue to uphold the tradition and culture of the school.
