General News of Monday, 26 June 2017Source: GNAAttitudinal change is needed for development to occur - MinisterSalifu Saeed, Northern Regional MinisterMr Salifu Saeed, the Northern Regional Minister, has called for a total change of attitude in the region to foster unity, peace and development. Mr Saeed made the appeal at separate congregations of Muslims on Sunday and Monday during the Eid Ul-Fitr prayers in Tamale to end the month long Ramadan fast. Mr Saeed said the New Patriotic Party government would address the problems of all including Zongo communities hence the appointment of a Minister in charge of Zongo development and urged the public to exercise patience as development would not elude them. Mr Haruna Iddrisu, Minority leader in Parliament, joined the Regional Minister and his deputy Solomon Boar to pray in the Ambariya Mosque on Monday. He urged the public use the occasion to build stronger ties by forgiving one another to ensure that peace and development occurs.
