Prosecution Service has stayed attempted murder charges against 30-year-old Jesse Pez, who was arrested on Halloween night 2020 in relation to an alleged serious assault outside a Kelowna, B.C., recreation center. Prosecution Service spokesperson Dan McLaughlin. On Oct. 31, 2020, Pez was arrested after what RCMP described as a "serious assault" outside the H20 Adventure and Fitness Centre. Photos taken by CBC News the day following the incident showed what appeared to be bloody handprints on the side of the home. Prosecution Service announced a stay in the proceedings.
