The complaint accusing the OC of attempted murder was submitted to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda’s office at 4:35pm in Agargaon by Khokon's son Saqeb Mahbub. In the complaint, Saqeb Mahbub also urged EC to take legal action against the perpetrators of the attack after a neutral investigation within 12 hours. So we submitted the complaint and left.”The complaint said that Khokon and his supporters have been subjected to harassment and arrests so soon as Khokon began campaigning on December 13. The complaint also said that Khokon has previously notified Noakhali Superintendent of Police Ilias Shari and Sonaimuri OC Abdul Majid about his campaigning programs on Friday.
