The program at the Agartala mission was hosted by Assistant High Commissioner Kiriti Chakma,and the Guwahati mission program was hosted by Assistant High Commissioner Shah Mohammad Tanvir Monsur. Both the assistant high commissioners began their respective programs by hoisting the Bangladesh national flag to the tune of the national anthem. This was followed by placing wreaths at the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Messages from the president, prime minister and foreign minister were also read out at both the missions.
