At least three members of a family were martyred and three others were injured on Tuesday when a mortar shell struck a house in Nakial sector of the Line of Control (LoC). A state on emergency has been declared in DHQ Kotli hospital as Indian Armed Forces, in blatant violation of the LoC have begun intense bombing and firing along multiple sectors including Nakial sector. Dr Nasarullah Khan, while declaring the emergency, ordered all doctors and staff to be present and will be overlooking all cases himself. Furthermore, Buttle, Hajira Mandhol, Sahra, and adjoining areas are also receiving intense shelling from across the border.
