ISLAMABAD: A meeting of leaders of parliamentary parties in National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday decided to receive in camera briefing from institutions of national security about the current situation arising out of Indian violation of airspace of Pakistan. NA Speaker Asad Qaiser chaired the meeting of leaders of parliamentary parties belonging to the government and opposition benches in the lower house. The in-camera briefing would be followed by meetings of parliamentary parties in which members will hold consultations. After these meetings, the joint session of parliament would be held and legislators would discuss the current security situation. The political parties and the nation would be kept informed about the current situation through leaders of parliamentary parties, the speaker added.
