KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has bagged two more gold medals in athletics at the Asean Para Games here. Muhd Hafiz Abu Bakar(pic) won the men's discus F36/F37 (cerebral palsy) gold medal with a throw of 33.51m while teammate Shamli Waidi settled for silver. In the men's long jump T11/T12 (visual impairment), Jonathan Wong Kar Gee upstaged defending champion Mohd Saifuddin Ishak for the gold medal. Wong achieved a distance of 6.98m while Saifuddin managed 6.56m for silver. Earlier Thursday morning, world para champion Ziyad Zolkelfli won the shot putt T20 (intellectual disability) gold while Mohd Hisham Khaironi won the javelin F12/F13 (visual impairment) gold medal.
