As relentless rains pounded the Palm Beaches Tuesday, the Houston Astros cancelled their scheduled exhibition game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Unless the Astros trade for someone like Madison Bumgarner or Corey Kluber, their 2019 rotation is going to be suspect. It is also going to make the Houston bullpen work much harder. Last season, Houston won 103 games and finished first in the American League West with a six-fgame bulge over the upstart Oakland A’s. The team won its only world championship in 2017 but isn’t likely to win its second this summer.
