Anwar El Ghazi is staying with Aston VillaAston Villa have announced the signing of Anwar El Ghazi on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee. El Ghazi scored Villa's opening goal in their 2-1 win over Derby County in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final last month. In total, El Ghazi scored six goals in 37 appearances for Villa last season. Villa head coach Dean Smith, said: "Anwar proved to everybody at Wembley how good a player he can be for Aston Villa. El Ghazi, who has two caps for the Netherlands, came through the youth ranks at Ajax before joining Lille in January, 2017.
