Police have detained ten more Jamaat-Shibir leaders and activists in connection with the Jamaat procession attack on police in Chittagong. The arrestees were identified as Ali Azgar, 31, Mojibul Haque Javed, 33, Md Aktar Hossain, 25, Md Abul Kalam Azad, 45, Md Lutfar Rahman alias Alam, 46, Md Tauhidul Islam, 40, Md Badruddoza alias Bhuttu, 42, Muzzamminul Haque alias Mozammel, 30, Md Jasim Uddin, 38, and Md Harunur Rashid, 55. On Sunday, they were detained after conducting a drive in several areas of the port city, said Panchlaish Police Inspector (Investigation) Sadikur Rahman. He said the detainees will be produced in the court later in the day. police held nine Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists during a pre-announced procession in Chittagong demanding the release of Jamaat Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman and a 10-point charter that included the implementation of the caretaker government.
