Gem Constituency MP aspirant has punched holes into MP Jakoyo Midiwo's development record saying he should not vie in the 2017 elections. According to Eric Rabuogi who is eyeing the seat on an ODM ticket, Midiwo has done nothing in the constituency which he has represented since 2002. Rabuogi further accused the lawmaker of unfair distribution of CDF funds in the area and that people should not vote him again come 2017. "You have failed the people of Gem and the honorable thing to do is to step down for young and visionary leaders," Rabuogi said in an interview with the Star. Midiwo's development record has in the past been put under scrutiny with his critics accusing him of engaging in too much politics at the expense of development.
