Ashley Mason claimed his Middle East & North Africa Tour (MENA) card when he successfully negotiated the 54-hole qualifying school at El Jadida in Morocco. Mason said: "Unfortunately I was ill when I arrived and was unable to play the first practice round. The MENA Tour is in two halves with a total of 15 events. "I will miss the first half, which starts this week in Casablanca, but plan to play in the second-half events later in the season. "Before that, I will compete in the EuroPro Tour Final qualifying school early next month for which I am eligible.
