Arsenal and Everton face paying hefty compensation fee to land Carlo Ancelotti

Both clubs have been linked with former Chelsea boss Ancelotti after his departure from Napoli was announced on Tuesday night. Everton have also made contact with Ancelotti after Marco Silva was sacked last week. However, if Ancelotti has been placed on gardening leave and therefore remains on Napoli's payroll, the Serie A club will be due a large slice of compensation. Both coaches oversaw wins at the weekend, with Everton beating Chelsea 3-1 on Saturday and Arsenal winning by the same score away to West Ham on Monday. Ancelotti has been replaced as Napoli manager by former AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso.
