File photoDHAKA, Feb 5, 2026 (BSS)- A court here today issued arrest warrants againstthree doctors in connection with the death of five-year old Ayaan Ahmedfollowing a circumcision at United Hospital in the Satarkul area under Baddaof the capital. The accused are surgeon Tasnuva Mahjabin, anaesthesia specialist Syed SabbirAhmed, and assistant anaesthesia specialist Md Nazim Uddin. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Ehsanul Islam passed the order afteraccepting the formal charge filed by the police. According to the case documents, Ayaan was taken to the United MedicalCollege Hospital for circumcision on December 31, 2023. Following an investigation, police filed the formal charge today.
