Police have arrested a man in relation to several recent attempted burglaries in Dunedin. Police say the man entered a house in Grange St, North Dunedin, where two people were sleeping about 5am last Thursday, but did not take anything. While the man did not go into any houses, he was seen looking in windows and was unlawfully on property, police said. The same night, a man was seen loitering in the same area. Officers then conducted inquiries and looked at CCTV footage to establish if he was the same man who had been trying to break into houses.
