A 19-year-old man has been arrested after police executed search warrants in Gore and Invercargill on Tuesday. A twelfth person has been arrested as part of an ongoing effort to disrupt criminal groups in the southern district. Southland police executed search warrants in Invercargill early this morning with the assistance of the Armed Offenders Squad and Specialist Search Team members. Last week, 11 people were arrested after eight search warrants were executed in Queenstown, Invercargill and Gore, targeting organised criminal networks and serious offending.
