KUALA LUMPUR: A prosecution witness told the High Court today said army pathologist Dr R. Kunaseegaran was the mastermind behind the murder of deputy public prosecutor Datuk Anthony Kevin Morais two years ago. Assistant Superintendent Wan Abdullah Wan Said, who was the main investigation officer of the case, said Dr Kunaseegaran had orchestrated the murder but managed to hide his presence during the entire 'process'. Dr. Kunaseegaran, 54, is charged with abetting in the murder of Morais. Wan Abdullah said Dr Kunaseegaran and Ravichandran were close friends and Dr Kunaseegaran always shared his problems with Ravichandran. “Thus my theory is Dr Kunaseegaran had planned to assassinate Morais with Ravichandran, and he gave his instructions orally,” he said.
