KUALA LUMPUR: Police are hunting for an alleged smooth-talking criminal who walked away with RM600,000 that he supposedly took from the safe room of a bank in Damansara Heights here. ACP Ruslan said that the man went into the bank and claimed to be a fire extinguisher technician. However, the bank manager did not fall for the ruse and asked for his identification. But as soon as the manager went out for his lunch break, the suspect managed to fool other bank personnel into giving him access to the vault. Members of the public can also contact the RakanCop hotline for Kuala Lumpur police at 03-2115 9999, text 32728 or inform any police station.
