An Army helicopter made an emergency landing near Balesar in Rajasthan's Jodhpur district today. The helicopter Chetak had taken off from Jodhpur for Jaisalmer's Pokhran Range. Along with the helicopter, which had developed technical snag, another chopper also landed at the court premises for providing support to the other copter. The pilots informed the Jodhpur-based control room about the technical snag. Five Chetak helicopters had left from the Army's Aviation Core along with a few jawans for the Pokhran firing range.
