(PTI) Jaipur, Jan. 18: A Jodhpur court today acquitted actor Salman Khan of charges of using unlicensed firearms to kill two black bucks in October 1998, citing insufficient evidence and giving him the benefit of the doubt. He cited some of the points that favoured Salman: ♦ Salman lives in Mumbai but the prosecution gave his address as Luni village, Jodhpur. Salman and his co-accused Bollywood stars have been asked to have their statements recorded on January 25 in the poaching case. Salman had been convicted and later acquitted in two cases involving the alleged poaching of three chinkaras near Jodhpur in September 1998.
