Armistice Day in Dunedin - News Summed Up

Armistice Day in Dunedin

Armistice Day has been commemorated by the Dunedin RSA in a ceremony at the Queens Gardens Cenotaph. About 250 people braved pouring rain to attend this morning's service, led by the Rev Dr Tony Martin. The service marked the signing of the armistice on November 11, 1918, between Germany and the Allied powers, signalling the end of World War 1.
