The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lt Gen Obed Boamah Akwa has inaugurated a newly built Multipurpose Hall at 4 Infantry Battalion (4Bn), Kumasi on Friday, March 15. The OB Akwa Complex is the first of its kind in the Infantry Battalions of the Ghana Army. The unit named the hall in honour of Lt Gen OB Akwa for his illustrious career worthy of emulation. It is believed naming the hall after the CDS will serve as an inspiration to both current and future officers and men of the Ghana Armed Forces.
