Crime & Punishment of Friday, 10 April 2026Source: www.ghanaweb.comThe Northern Regional Police Command in Tamale has arrested three suspected armed robbers, including two Level 400 students of the University for Development Studies (UDS), in a targeted operation that led to the retrieval of weapons and suspected stolen items. The suspects, whose identities have not yet been disclosed, are reported to be final-year students from the Nyankpala and Dungu campuses of UDS. Police say the arrests form part of ongoing efforts to clamp down on rising robbery incidents in parts of the Tamale metropolis. According to reports on Ghana Chronicles, Officers also retrieved an iPhone 17, estimated at GH¢21,000, believed to be linked to their alleged criminal activities.
