Doug Ducey (R) won’t announce a successor to the late senator John McCain until after his burial. McCain, who died Saturday at age 81 after a year-long battle with brain cancer, will be buried at the U.S. The state is already in the midst of a contest to replace its junior senator, Republican Jeff Flake, who is retiring. Rep. Martha McSally, former state senator Kelli Ward and former Maricopa County sheriff Joe Arpaio are fighting for the GOP nomination.
