CAIRO - 13 December 2023: The number of planes received by Al-Arish Airport in North Sinai, carrying international aid for the people of the Gaza Strip, has reached 299 planes since last October 12 until today. The planes transported aid shipments destined for the Gaza Strip. The Egyptian Red Crescent received the shipments and transported them on trucks from Al-Arish to the Rafah crossing to reach the Gaza Strip. The international relief organizations from which the aid planes arrived came from the World Food Organization, UNICEF, the World Health Organization, the Red Cross, a plane from Doctors Without Borders, the European Union, and the United Nations. The countries from which planes transporting aid arrived to Gaza and landed at Al-Arish Airport are: Kuwait, Turkey, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Algeria, Jordan, Iraq, Indonesia, France, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bahrain, England, Brazil, Tunisia, Venezuela.
